Titan Wheel in Quincy expanding

Titan Wheel is expanding.

The manufacturer is constructing a new paint facility. The facility will house around 50 to 60 workers when they reach full production and this allows them to use powder paint technology for the largest wheels that they manufacture, as opposed to a liquid application. "Powder technology is an easier to apply paint, so it's more forgiving in our manufacturing process, and it also gives a more durable paint for the customer," said Vice President of Materials Steve Hathaway.

Hathaway says work should be finished by the end of the year.
