A new subdivision may break ground in Quincy

A new subdivision make break ground soon in Quincy.

The Quincy Planning Commission approved a new subdivision that will sit on the east side of North 54th street. The plan is to have four lots that range from 1.5 to 3.0 acres in size.

The subdivision still has to be approved by the city council and the Adams County Health Department.

Quincy City Planner Chuck Bevelheimer says the city hasn't received a lot of requests for subdivisions since 2007.
