A famous country music star is putting forth his signature for a good cause.
Country singer Blake Shelton, who's also a star of NBC's "The Voice", has autographed a guitar to be auctioned off later this month in Pike County, Illinois.
The guitar, along with several other items, are all a part of a benefit in the honor of Pittsfield resident Eva Kelly, who lost her battle with breast cancer last December.

"You know, somebody as famous as he is, to take his time to send something to a small community like we have, it's overwhelming," organizer Michelle Garrett said. "I'll admit, I cried. I was overwhelmed because I know what kind of money this can bring in for our cause."
Garrett says the proceeds are going to organizations that were close to Eva's heart, such as the American Breast Cancer Association and both the Adams and Pike County animal shelters.
The benefit is July 27 in New Canton starting at Noon, including games, a kiddie carnival, raffles and the silent auction, that includes the Blake Shelton autographed guitar. You can click here to learn more about the fundraiser.
