The Monroe County Health Department is offering Free TDaP vaccines on Friday to anyone age 11 or older during two July clinics.
Both clinics will be hosted at the Monroe County Health Department. The first is Friday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. The second is Wednesday, July 31, also from 3 p.m.-7 p.m.
Anyone receiving a vaccine needs to fill out a consent form. Kids under age 18 must have a parental consent form to receive the immunization.
The program is available for free due thanks to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.
"We know July is a challenging time of year for parents to be thinking about vaccinations, with family vacations and other activities going on, but we hope they will take advantage of the convenience of getting vaccinated without any cost," Administrator Paula Delaney said.
The TDaP vaccine offers protection against tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis (whooping cough.)
