JWCC tuition will not increase

QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -- For the first time in 14 years, John Wood Community College students will now face a tuition increase.

Wednesday night, trustees approved a 2014 operating budget of just under $15 million, with nearly $90,000 in cuts.  John Wood President John Letts hopes keeping tuition flat will make the college even more attractive to students compared to other state and private schools which increased costs.
