Suspect caught on camera trying to break into ATM at Alexandria gas station

ALEXANDRIA, Mo. (WGEM) -

Authorities in Clark County need your help identifying a suspect who broke into a gas station and tried to rob the ATM.

The suspect was captured on surveillance video from the U.S. 61 Oil convenience store in Alexandria, Missouri.

The Clark County Sheriff's Office reports the suspect cut a hole through the store's back wall early Thursday morning.

Then as you can see, the camouflage wearing suspect tried repeatedly to break into the ATM using a hammer and other tools before giving up.
