Teachers will likely show up to work without a contract when school starts Wednesday for the Quincy Public School District.
District officials tell WGEM as of right now, no date has been set for the next contract negotiation.
It's been ten days since the contracts of hundreds of teachers in the Quincy Public School District expired.
If teachers do start the year without a contract, it wouldn't be the first time. The current two year deal wasn't approved until December 2011, an entire semester into the school year.
