Marion County Health Department giving free T-DAP vaccines
HANNIBAL, Mo. (WGEM) -
If you haven't gotten your T-DAP vaccine yet, the Marion County Health Department is giving them out for free this week.
The vaccination clinics run from 8am to 4pm all week. It's a requirement for kids going into 8th grade to get the T-DAP booster shot, but administrator Jean McBride said this clinic is open for anyone who has yet to get vaccinated.
"Anyone who's around a new baby because baby's can't be vaccinated, so if grandparents are going to be that babysitter, they need to come in and get those T-DAPs. New daddy's need to get them, aunt's or uncles. Anyone that's going to be around that new baby," McBride said.
McBride expects hundreds of people to get vaccinations throughout the week.
