Brothers sentenced to federal prison for Quincy drug ring

SPRINGFIELD, Ill.  (WGEM) --  Chicago brothers who organized a large-scale cocaine trafficking ring in Quincy were sentenced in federal court Thursday.

Sylvester Purham was sentenced to 30 years in prison while his brother, Howard Purham, will serve 20 years in prison.  

The brothers ran a group that brought crack cocaine from Chicago to Quincy from August 2010 to November 2011, sometimes via Amtrak.
