Macon police investigating attempted child abduction and assault


Police in Macon, Missouri are looking for a suspect in an attempted child abduction and assault.

Macon police say a 13-year-old boy was in the park around 9:45 last night when he was approached by an older male driving a white van.

The suspect allegedly tried to grab the boy. When the teen fought back, the suspect reportedly punched him.

The suspect is described as possibly Hispanic and was dressed in all black.
