Welcome Day at Culver-Stockton College

It was move in day for hundreds of new students at Culver-Stockton College.

Campus was packed as upper classman and even some faculty helped students into the dorms. For the second year in a row, Culver-Stockton is preparing for an incoming class with more than 300 students.

Overall, enrollment is up 10 percent this fall, including big increase in international students.

"We did add men's volleyball. And that seems to be of an attraction for international students. So we have some new students in that way," said Richard Valentine, the President of Culver-Stockton College.

An international business student and men's volleyball player say they are excited about the new school year.

"I'm actually really excited about the twelve, three semester. Because I am very excited about studying abroad," said Tyler Frump, a freshmen at Culver-Stockton.

"I'm excited for the inaugural game, the first game. It's going to be pretty intense," said Cody Jankowski, a sophomore.

Culver Stockton Welcome Weekend continues tomorrow with the Extreme Dome Makeover as students tackle several community service projects around Canton.
