The City of Fort Madison is looking to hire someone who can bring more tourists to town.
The volunteer tourism commission is looking for a part-time tourism and marking coordinator.
The ideal candidate would have a marketing or sales background and a passion for Ft. Madison.
The coordinator will work 30 hours a week, dedicating their efforts to showcasing what the city has to offer.
"They feel like we need to have somebody here on a daily basis answering phones and going out and getting people to come to Fort Madison," said City Manager Byron Smith.
If you would like to apply, contact Ft. Madison City Hall.
