People came together in Pike County to bring some color to life all for a good cause.
The 2nd annual Rainbow Run was held in Perry today. Runners and walkers tackled a 3k course with color stations to brighten up the race. Organizer Angie Johnson said she is pleased with the turnout but she hopes to get bigger and thinks Pike county can make it happen.
"(I) just hope it gets bigger and if we can make it bigger and do it more often, more than once a year that would be great. Maybe 2 or 3 times a year would be awesome. It's amazing this community is great. Pike county is great. They all pulled together it's amazing."
All proceeds go to a different charity each year with this year's going to the Make-a-Wish foundation.
