Dogs can be a pain to train at times, but one event tried to show it can be fun for the owner too.
The Quincy Kennel Club held their responsible dog owner event. The event was to show the importance of obedience training as well as show how it can be fun for you while doing it. Director of Training Mary Price said she just wants to show what dogs are capable of.
"I'd like to see people interested in making their dogs better companions, better neighbor by obedience training, and by obedience also agility. We can show people that we can do more with our days then having them sit in our laps."
There was also stations to help groom your dogs nails as well as a chiropractor for simple tips.
