Two charged for vandalism at Bob Mays Park


Two people have been charged for vandalism at Bob Mays Park.

According to the Quincy Police Department, officers received calls to the park about two men driving a Jeep throughout the park, running over signs.

Officers located the driver - 19 year old Dallas Cookson - and his passenger, a 17 year old juvenile. Officers reported that there were also several damaged mailboxes on Morton Drive and Highland Lane, and that a corn field was driven through nearby.

Cookson was arrested for Criminal Damage to Property, and both were charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor.
