United Way of the Mark Twain Area kicks off campaign
HANNIBAL, Mo. (WGEM) -
The United Way of the Mark Twain Area is setting the bar high for this year's fundraising campaign.
The organization announced its $577,000 goal tonight at its kick off event, that's about $17,000 more than last year. The United Way serves Lewis, Marion, Monroe, Ralls and Shelby Counties. Chairman Mike McFarlane said the money raised goes toward 30 different agencies within those five counties.
