Tri-State Rodeo underway in Ft. Madison

FT. MADISON, Ia. (WGEM) -- Looking for fun, family entertainment full of cowboy culture this weekend? Head to Southeast Iowa.

Wednesday night kicked off the 66th annual Tri-State Rodeo in Fort Madison.  Thousands of people will fill C.E. Eddie Richards Arena for a weekend packed with action.  The Rodeo attracts some of the nation's top cowboys.  Events include saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, bull riding and tie down roping.

Organizer Josh Denning says, "We made it real easy this year with being able to buy your tickets online, print them off at home and don't have to worry about getting in line.  We're expecting a sellout Friday night so I recommend getting online and printing off your tickets as soon as possible."

Popular country group Little Big Town takes the stage Friday night and Rodney Atkins on Saturday.  Rodeo competition takes place every night through Saturday.
