Rural Hancock Co. home catches on fire

A person made it out okay after a house caught fire Wednesday afternoon in rural Hancock County.

It happened around 1 p.m. on East County Road 350, near Sutter.

Warsaw assistant fire chief Chris Becker says he thinks the fire started on the ground floor on the north side of the house.

The blaze then spread to the second floor and attic.

No one got hurt and the fire remains under investigation.

Fire crews were called back to the scene Wednesday evening after fire rekindled in one of the walls, but they were able to get it put out quickly.
