EWING, Mo. (WGEM) -

Highway 6 is reopened after being shut down this morning following a two vehicle accident near Ewing.

Traffic was stalled for just about an hour following an accident shortly after 10 a.m.

Lewis County Sheriff David Parrish says an elderly woman was turning left off Highway 6, west of Ewing, to visit a garage sale when she was rear ended by a passenger car.

That woman was not injured. Parrish says one of the passengers of the car suffered moderate injuries. Both passengers of the car were transported to a nearby hospital.
