Coroner: Skull fracture cause of death in 8th & Adams crash
QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -
New details have been released in the fatal crash that destroyed the former Crossing Thrift Store at 8th and Adams in Quincy.
Adams County Coroner Jim Keller says Matthew Fulmer died due to a skull fracture sustained in an impact as he sped down 8th Street.
Keller says he isn't sure exactly which impact caused the fracture, but said Fulmer's death was not due to the fire that happened at 8th and Adams after Fulmer's truck collided into the Crossing Thrift Store.
Autopsy results showed alcohol in Fulmer's system.
