Seniors can get help with Medicare decisions


QUINCY , Ill. (WGEM) -- Seniors looking to save on Medicare next year can get help with the tough decisions.

Medicare enrollment begins October 15th and runs through December 5th.  In Quincy, the West Central Illinois Area Agency on Aging is already booked through mid November with appointments to help find people the best medicare policy plan for them.

Todd Shackelford is with the West Central Illinois Area Agency on Aging.  He says, "No there's no charge for our services here, people can come in and compare.  In fact they save money and we have seen significant savings among many seniors that come in and compare every year and find a better plan for them."

You can contact the Area Agency on Aging inside the Quincy Senior Center if you'd like to schedule an appointment to enroll in Medicare.
