Local officials answer ObamaCare questions

People say they're still in the dark about how to find health insurance plans under the new Affordable Care Act.

That's why places like the Adams County Health Department have certified counselors who are available to help people navigate through the website called www.getcoveredIllinois.gov.

The counselors will assist people by showing them where to put in their information to find the insurance plan that fits them best.

"Individuals can come in just to get information if they like. They don't have to sign up for anything that day. They can make an appointment to come back to then enter that data on the website and they can also do that from their own home," said Joanna Bunch of the Adams County Health Department.

If you need help, just walk in anytime during the week between 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
