Ameren Missouri natural gas customers getting new surcharge

Missouri natural gas customers will soon be paying more.

Missouri regulators have approved a new infrastructure surcharge for Ameren Missouri customers. The Public Service Commission says the surcharge will cost residential customers 75 cents per month.

Ameren Missouri says they wanted the surcharge to fund infrastructure improvements it has made since 2011.

St. Louis-based Ameren Missouri has about nearly 127,000 natural gas customers in Missouri.
