Historic marker dedicated and blessed at St. Anthony's Church

A historical marker that's been apart of St. Anthony's church for more than 100 years was blessed today by those who helped preserve the landmark.

The bell tower was blessed today by members of the church to keep the history of the church alive. The Genenbacher family helped to salvage the bell when the Brick church was demolished in 1983. Those in the church say it's a memory they hope will live on for awhile.

"And it's part of the treasure of the church and it brings completion of a long awaited project," said Judy Yeast.

Those in the Genenbacher family have had seven generations be a part of St. Anthony church.
