The Lee County Narcotics Task Force says two Keokuk residents were arrested Tuesday on drug charges.
Officers say 59-year-old Terry Jarrell and 47-year-old Barbara Kay were arrested at their home in the 800 block of Concert Street.
Jarrell was arrested for allegedly receiving items to make meth and faces up to five years in prison.
Kay was allegedly in possession of meth and drug paraphernalia. If convicted, she faces over 31 years in prison.
Commander Stacy Weber says the arrests started with an investigation after accusations were made that the two had a meth lab in the area.
