Clark County Ambulance Service director arrested for sexually abusing a child

Troopers arrested the director of the Clark County Ambulance Service, charging that he sexually abused a 10-year-old girl.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 35-year-old Richard Koenig, of Kahoka, was arrested Wednesday afternoon on charges of statutory sodomy, endangering the welfare of a child and incest.

Koenig was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol's Division of Drug and Crime Control and the Missouri Division of Family Services.

Koenig is being held in the Clark County Jail on a $100,000 bond.

Koenig joined the Clark County Ambulance District in April.
