The Quincy Area Habitat for Humanity had perfect weather today to make progress on their latest build.
Volunteers arrived on site around 9 o'clock this morning and started working on siding and insulation. The construction supervisor says a contractor and crew came to install the roof, which he says they were thankful for.
"People need to have decent homes and affordable living. So I think it's a great way for people who can't usually or typically afford a home, can have one of their own," said Daniel Baird, construction supervisor.
Daniel Baird also says they hope to have the house completed next year, but they are still in need of volunteers.
