The Quincy Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration are urging residents to clean out their medicine cabinets.
The QPD and the DEA are giving people a chance to dispose of their unused prescriptions this Saturday from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in Quincy. Residents can bring in their expired, unused, or unwanted medications to the police substation in the Quincy Mall.
Police say the service is free and they won't ask any questions.
Not accepted drop-offs:
Quincy police said that state and local law enforcement agencies across the country along with the DEA collected 371 tons of unwanted prescriptions on National Prescription Drug Take Back Day in April.
