Halloween second busiest night of the year for pizza
QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -- Halloween can be a real treat for pizza places.
That was the case Thursday night at Pop's Pizza in Quincy. Cooks were busy making pizza and wings for delivery and dine-in orders. A recent study shows Halloween is the second busiest day of the year for pizza, when most families are worrying about getting costumes ready for trick or treating.
Brooke Frese is a waitress at Pop's. She says, "Pizza is just quick and easy. People just want to sit down eat, get it out of the way and they want to go ahead and take their kids out trick or treating before it gets too late. Especially on a Thursday night because they have school on Friday."
