QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -

The Michigan man who pled guilty last month for his role in a fatal ATV crash last year was sentenced Thursday to six months in jail.

Court records reveal Andrew Koster, 31, of Kalamazoo, Michigan also received 2 years of probation and a $2,500 fine.

Authorities say Koster was driving an ATV Sept. 14 just after midnight when he crashed. The passenger, 25-year-old, Sarah Birsic, died from injuries sustained during the crash.
