Fort Madison man faces 20 years on federal burglary and weapon charges

A Fort Madison man faces up to 20 years in state prison on felony burglary and weapon charges.

The Lee County Narcotics Task Force said it arrested 25-year-old Aaron Lee Anderson Thursday at his home in the 1800 block of Avenue E.

Anderson is charged with second-degree burglary and trafficking in stolen weapons.

The task force said Anderson's arrest came after it investigated allegations that Anderson stole a gun in a burglary and that he sold the gun to someone else. It said the gun was used later in the commission of  a public offense.
