Quincy man accused of burglary heads to court

QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -

A Quincy man accused of attempted burglary heads to court with a public defender on Thursday.

34-year old Kevin Young was arrested on September 16th.

He is charged with attempted burglary, driving with a suspended license, and leaving the scene of an accident.

Prosecutors say he crashed a stolen car into a mailbox on Springlake Drive in Quincy, and then ran from the scene.

He is in the Adams County Jail.
