Vatterott College kicks off food drive

One local school kicks off an annual event aimed at helping those in need.

Vatterott College in Quincy starts its annual food drive to benefit the Madonna House on Tuesday. The college is asking people to donate non-perishable and canned goods to help fill the shelter's pantry.

The campus will hold an in-school competition among faculty and staff to see who can collect the most food.

The food drive lasts through November 22.
