Cape Air reaches 10,000 passenger goal for 2013

Posted:
The Quincy Regional Airport reached its 10,000 passenger goal this year and that means more improvements are in the future.

Cape Air will now receive a federal grant for $1 million. Airport officials say they reached their goal a couple weeks earlier this year than last year.

Michael Troyanovich  was the 10,000th passenger and says he relies on the airport for business and is happy the airport reached its goal.

"I think it's a great idea," Troyanovich said. "The people here are great. They treat you with nothing but respect and it seems like for the most part everything is on time so you can't ask for anything more."

Troyanovich got a free round-trip ticket from Cape Air and each passenger on the flight got a desk clock from the city of Quincy.
