Traffic stop leads to meth arrest

Illinois State Police say a routine traffic stop in Quincy led troopers to a meth lab.

Christopher J. Reimers, 55, of Quincy was arrested after he was pulled over Thursday morning at 8th and Broadway. Troopers say they found two ingredients used to make meth.

The West Central Illinois Task Force helped with the investigation and say more shake and back meth ingredients were found in Reimers apartment at 411 Oak St.

Reimers was arrested for aggravated unlawful participation in methamphetamine production, unlawful possession of methamphetamine precursors, unlawful possession of methamphetamine manufacturing material, unlawful possession of 15-100 grams of methamphetamine and unlawful use of property.
