A homeless man was scheduled to be sentenced Monday on arson charges but it was postponed due to illness.
Eric Kithcart, 33, plead guilty to setting fire to some garbage at an apartment building on North 4th Street in Quincy in June of 2013. Investigators say Kithcart then put the burning trash in a common hallway. There were people inside the building at the time of the fire, but no one was injured.
Kithcart faces three to seven years in prison. His new sentencing date is yet to be re-scheduled.
