Quincy woman taken to hospital after traffic crash

A woman was taken to Blessing Hospital after a traffic crash at the intersection of 20th and Jersey streets.

Quincy police say 56-year-old Barbara Zwiers, of Quincy, was driving west on Jersey Street Tuesday morning when she stopped at a yield sign and proceeded westbound. She then crashed into a car driven by Alexander Bugg IV, of Quincy, who was traveling southbound on 20th Street.

Zwiers was ticketed for failing to yield.
