PALMYRA, Mo. (WGEM) -- Palmyra senior infielder Seth Brown made the next step of his athletic and academic career official on Friday afternoon, signing his letter of intent to play baseball at Hannibal-LaGrange.
Brown, a second team all CCC selection in 2013, hit .464 for the Panthers over the course of his junior campaign, to go along with an equally impressive .571 on base percentage.
He tells WGEM Sports that the opportunity to continue his baseball career in the Tri-States with the Trojans felt like the perfect fit.
"First of all it's the location, it's really close to home," Brown expressed.
"I can have my family at all of the games and I still get to go home."
"They say once you get on campus you'll know, and when I got on HLGU's campus I knew. I really like Coach Biggs' philosophy on baseball, and I think I'll be a great fit there."
Brown also tells WGEM Sports he plans to major in secondary education with a focus in math, along with a minor in coaching.
