Electrophysiology Open House brings in visitors

QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) - 150  visitors made it out to the Blessing Hospital's Electrophysiology Lab open house on Sunday, January 26.

The new EP lab has been opened since November, however on Sunday, residents got a chance to see inside the lab and talk to the E-P staff.
Dr. John David Hammock estimated everything in new lab cost two to three million dollars, but the results were well worth it.

"This is a dream come true, I think any doctor coming out of an EP fellowship in training for Electrophysiology and walking into this kind of a lab would be thrilled," Said Dr. Hammock

Dr. Hammock also said the technology and staff in the lab were sure to be a huge impact on the community.
