Lee County man faces five years on meth charges

A West Point, Iowa man faces up to five years in state prison after police say they found meth-making materials in his home.

Lee County Narcotics Task Force Commander Stacy Weber says police arrested 38-year-old Gregory Beach Friday at his home on 119 5th St. Beach is charged with felony possession of precursors with the intent to make meth.

Weber says the task force was investigating allegations that Beach had the precursors.
