Suspects in custody in Louisiana, Missouri shooting

LOUISIANA, Mo. (WGEM) - The Louisiana Police Department says is has suspects in custody after a Tuesday afternoon shooting that injured one person.

The names of those suspects have not yet been released.

Chief Richard Hughes says a person suffered minor injuries during a Tuesday afternoon shooting.

Hughes says officers responded to a call about a suspicious vehicle on the 400 block of North 5th Street, but they couldn't find the vehicle.

Hughes says another caller reporting seeing the vehicle and hearing a loud noise. Officers later found holes in a vehicle and brought in several people for questioning.

"The suspect has been identified and we are working to get them in custody," Hughes said.

Hughes says he believes the shooting involved a dispute between the victim and the shooter.
