QPS asking for feedback in online survey

The Quincy Public School District is looking for feedback on how to improve your child's education. And it's as simple as filling out an online survey.

QPS administrators are asking all parents, teachers, and students to fill out the 'Illinois Five Essentials Survey.'

The online questionnaire will become available on March 17th. The survey focuses on five categories to help schools identify areas they're strong in and areas they need to improve.
At least 30 percent of parents and 50 percent of teachers have to take the survey for an individual school report to be made.

"We definitely value their input and their engagement in the schools in Quincy, as we did not get a chance to get all of the input last year because the roll out happened very quickly. This year we are trying to roll it out so that everyone is very aware and we're giving a larger window of time," Carol Frericks, QPS Secondary Academic Director said.

The deadline to take the survey is April 25th.
