QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -  Three people were taken to Blessing Hospital Monday night after a truck crashed into a Quincy house.

The crash happened at 6:18 p.m. near 8th and Madison.

Police say a pickup truck driven by William Vahle, 19, of Canton, Missouri hit the side of a house. Witnesses told police the truck had been driving erratically on 8th Street before it ran off the road.

Police say the truck just missed a utility pole before colliding with the house.

Vahle and two passengers suffered serious injuries. A woman who lived in the home at 1005 South 8th was not hurt.

Vahle was ticketed for improper lane usage.
