Tri-States above state, national averages for daily smokers, study says

The number of smokers in the United States have dropped significantly over the past 20 years, but the Tri-States still sits above state and national averages.

The Institute For Health Metrics and Evaluation measured the percentage of daily smokers. The new report says McDonough, Illinois is at the state average of 13.7%, the lowest in the area, while Marion County is the highest with 22.6%.
