Motorcycles get LED makeover

Motorcycle riders are gearing up in a colorful manner as riding season is just about here.

Bill Sankus, owner of the Neon Cycle, was at TNT in Quincy Friday installing LED lighting on motorcycles.

He says he makes about five trips a year to install and maintain lighting on vehicles.

While the decoration is nice, there's also a safety factor he's pushing for.

"We're working with ABATE, to get them fully legalized in the state of Illinois and the state of Missouri to run them on the roads completely," Sankus said.

Sankus says he'll be back at TNT in Quincy next month during its open house April 25 and 26.
