KEOKUK, Ia. (WGEM) -
If you're a fan of Broadway-style shows you will have the chance to see one in the Tri-States and help out the community at the same time.
The Kardiac Kapers will be performing a two-hour variety show called "Shaking With A Twist of Sublime" and proceeds will benefit the Keokuk Area Hospital.
"Everybody has been hibernating and sitting inside so it gets everybody off of their couches and away from their TVs and out into their communities where they are meeting new people and interacting," show director Jaime Donegan said. "Not just for that purpose, but singing and dancing and moving their bodies while raising money for a great cause."
The money raised will be used to buy needed medical equipment.
There are performances April 10, 11 and 12 at 7:30 p.m. at the Grand Theatre in Keokuk and tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door.
Tickets are available at the Keokuk Area Hospital gift shop.
