Keokuk woman arrested on meth charges

Police arrested a Keokuk woman on felony and misdemeanor drug charges.

Lee County Narcotics Task Force Unit Commander Stacy Weber says police and sheriff deputies arrested Kristine Nicole Forsythe, 28, of 3624 Iowa Road, Tuesday at her home.

Forsythe was charged with conspiracy to make more than five grams of meth with a minor present and within 1,000 feet of a public park, maintaining a drug house, possession of meth, possession of hydrocodone with the intent to deliver within 1,000 feet of a public park and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Forsyth could spend more than 53 years in prison if she is convicted.
