Quincy man arrested in connection with stabbing

QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) - Police arrested a Quincy man Friday in connection with the stabbing of another man.

Quincy police were called to the Blessing emergency room around 11 a.m. Friday morning for a patient with knife wounds.

Investigators learned the stabbing happened at 607 Payson.

They later arrested Leshawn Stanbridge, 28, near that house. He's charged with aggravated battery.

Chase Meyer was still in the hospital Friday night for treatment.
