Easter Bunny to stop by local university with 8,000 eggs

HANNIBAL, Mo. (WGEM) - The Easter Bunny will make an early stop with more than 8,000 plastic eggs at one local University Saturday morning.

Hannibal LaGrange University will host an Easter egg hunt on campus at the Mabee Sports Complex.

Doors open at 8:30 a.m. and kids are invited to gather at 9 a.m. for a chance to win prizes from local merchants. Each kid that goes will get a free ticket for prizes. They can buy more tickets for $1 each for more chances to win.

The hunt, which is broken down into different age groups, begins at 10 a.m. Kids do have to be able to walk or run on their own to participate.

There's no cost and each kid will get a free goodie bag and a chance to meet the Easter Bunny.
