Easter egg hunt draws families out to Quincy's Washington Park

Posted:
QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) - It was a sea of pastels across Washington Park in Quincy Saturday as kids raced to pick up Easter eggs.

Kids were divided up into different age groups as they went on a hunt to pick up as many eggs as they could before they were all gone. Some kids who participated in the event say they love the challenge every year.

"There are secret surprises in the eggs and I like to play with the surprises," Dylan Eidson said.

"It's kind of hard to pick up as many eggs as you can," Kayley Reed said.

The event was sponsored by several churches in downtown Quincy.
